Our story

Sucre N’ Sel started in 2020 during the Pandemic as we wanted to share our passion for cuisine and pastry with others, who could no longer go out to experience it.

It first started in Marina Del Rey with our neighbors, and rapidly expanded to nearby cities in Venice, Culver City and Santa Monica before expanding to our community serving schools other businesses.

We bake, cook and cater for everyone (individuals, families, companies, associations etc.), for any occasion (birthdays, weddings, special events or every day needs) and for any dietary restrictions & preferences (vegetarian, vegan, gluten intolerance, lactose intolerance etc.)

Our vision is to always provide the best taste and quality regardless of the challenges.

You can also choose from our 48hrs made to order products, featuring a wide range of made to order macarons flavors and your special custom cakes (see Custom Cake menu).

We also offer baking classes (private or in group) and catering services (sweet & savory options) upon request.

We only use the best ingredients. Organic local produce, high quality Non-GMO European flours and the finest imported ingredients.

Our Chef

Chef Jill is a French-Filipina with more than 10 years experience in cuisine & pastry.

She has travelled and lived in many different countries in Asia & Europe which greatly influenced her unique approach to pastry & the combination of flavors she applies to create exceptional pastries & dishes.

She has learned & trained in prestigious schools in Paris such as the Ritz-Escoffier, Le Nôtre, & Le Cordon Bleu. She has also recently worked at the Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles.

Her passion for culinary & arts, with her unique experiences will transport you to the discovery of flavors and the pure joy of learning while having fun. As they say in French “la joie de vivre”.

At Sucre N’ Sel, we have a philosophy of balancing the traditional techniques with the modern ones, mixing comforting flavors with explosive ones to constantly delight.
